ABTechnology Appoints New Managing Director

ABTechnology, the Aberdeen based developer of advanced buoy technology to the energy industry, today announces appointments to its management structure, effective immediately.

Mr Barath Rajgopaul has been appointed as Managing Director of ABTechnology. Mr Rajgopaul is a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years experience in the petroleum industry. His experience in commercial roles with major oil companies including Britoil, BP, Texaco and BG make him ideally equipped to lead the development of the company and drive growth.

The company has also appointed Dr Glenn Andrews to the position of Technical Director. Dr Andrews is a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years wide-ranging experience in a number of disciplines in the petroleum industry. His experience of leading large project teams for companies including Shell and Lloyd's Register will be a valuable asset to the company.
