The buoy can be designed to serve in the production of wet gas reservoirs. In this environment the buoy serves to extract the natural gas liquids (NGLs). This facilitates the export of appropriate quality gas into existing pipeline systems, and the storage and export offloading of NGLs by either pipeline or shuttle tanker offloading.
Criteria for field identification:
- Partially depleted gas fields.
- New gas field development with small size of less than of 25 MMBoe
